Organised by dmg events, HVACR Expo Saudi has generated much interest in the GCC’s largest yet still emerging heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration market.
The show gathered 75 exhibiting companies and participants from 26 countries. Content and education also played a crucial role in achieving a stunning 22% increase in visitor numbers.
From 14 to 16 January at the Jeddah Centre for Forums & Events, HVACR Expo Saudi was home to the first EU-Saudi Arabia Energy Efficiency Meeting, a high-level summit held under the initiative of the EU GCC Clean Energy Technology Network and the European Union Delegation to Saudi Arabia, as well as the launch of the world’s first wind-free air conditioners by Samsung.
Moreover, close to 4,000 visitors attended the 19 free and CPD certified workshops presented by renowned industry experts during the three-day event. Nearly 250 attendees crammed into the most popular workshop sessions, which were designed to promote career development and witnessed a 101% increase in delegates year on year.
Matt Denton, President, dmg events – Middle East, Asia & Africa said: “The Middle East Special Event Awards 2018 celebrate the outstanding achievements of the region’s events’ industry. Winning this award for HVACR Expo Saudi, one of our niche events, is a huge honour.
“The award is further motivation for the talented staff at dmg events to continue with their exceptional efforts in organising highly successful and popular events that contribute towards the development of regional business and trade.”
The Middle East Event Awards is part of the eight edition of the Middle East Special Event & Exhibition Show that recognises companies and individuals from the events industry for their exemplary efforts through 25 categories.
The fourth edition of the region's largest HVAC-R business event, HVACR Expo Saudi, will return from 28 to 30 January at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center.
